Ted Wolfe Reappointed to the Association of Community Cancer Centers Board of Trustees

Ottumwa - Ted Wolfe from Ottumwa Regional Health Center has recently been reappointed to the Association of Community Cancer Center's (ACCC) Board of Trustees for a second two-year term. The ACCC, headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, represents approximately 1,700 cancer programs, hospitals and oncology private practices across the United States. Previously, Wolfe was program chairman for the annual meeting, which was held in Washington D.C. with over 600 members in attendance.
The ACCC publishes a bimonthly magazine titled Oncology Issues. The March/April 2006 edition features an article co-authored by Wolfe and three colleagues entitled Beyond The Plan: Add value to your strategic plan by making team building and education part of the process.
Wolfe was recently named Executive Director of the new cancer center at Ottumwa Regional as part of a joint venture with South Iowa Radiation Oncology Center (SIROC). Grand Opening for the new cancer center at Ottumwa Regional is Saturday, May 6 at 4 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
