Volunteers
Volunteers assist Ottumwa Regional Health Center staff
in many of the hospital areas such as: baby photos,
escort services, gift shop, information desk, lifeline,
tray favors, sewing and folding, vending machines, fresh
flowers, service cart, surgical hostesses, clerical
work. Volunteers also work with fund-raising and special
events.
Volunteers are placed according to their interest,
background and the amount of time available for service.
All volunteers receive an orientation to the Health
Center as well as specific training in their area. All
prospective volunteers apply through Volunteer Auxiliary
Services, (641) 684-2350.
